Daybook

Terms of service

These terms cover your use of Daybook. They are deliberately short. If something here is unclear, ask before you rely on it — cardi.workshop@gmail.com.

Who you are dealing with

Daybook is built and operated by cardi_workshop, an independent software maker. The one contact for everything — support, billing, privacy, legal — is cardi.workshop@gmail.com. There is no phone line and no separate legal department; the person who writes the code reads that inbox.

What the service does

You get an email address. Purchase orders sent to it are read, turned into a table of order lines, and shown to you. Nothing reaches Shopify until you press the button. When you do, we create a draft order — never a real order. We do not complete orders, charge cards, or change inventory.

Because a draft order is a draft, you are the one who checks it. We match SKUs and quantities as carefully as we can and show you what we could not match, but the numbers that end up in your store are the numbers you approved.

What you agree to

Payment

49 USD per 30 days, after a 7-day free trial. The free trial is counted once per shop. The clock starts when you approve the charge, not when you install — opening the approval screen and closing it costs you nothing. If you cancel before the trial ends, the days you did not use are yours to come back to. Once the 7 days are used up, cancelling and returning — or uninstalling and reinstalling — means you start paying straight away. The count resets 180 days after it began. Billing is handled entirely by Shopify and appears on your Shopify invoice — we never see your card. Prices may change with notice; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for.

Cancel any time from inside the app. Billing stops immediately and you keep creating draft orders until the end of the period you already paid for. Cancelling during the free trial ends access at once, because nothing has been paid. Uninstalling cancels the subscription, deletes your data, and ends any remaining time immediately.

Limits of what we promise

The service is provided as is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or that every purchase order will be read correctly — the section on what we cannot read yet is an honest list, not fine print.

Our total liability to you, for any and all claims arising out of the service, is limited to the fees you paid us in the 30 days before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — lost profit, lost orders, lost goodwill — even if we were told it was possible. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

This limit is why the app creates drafts and not orders: the design keeps a human decision between our output and your store.

Ending it

You can stop using the service at any time by uninstalling. We may suspend or end an account that is being used to break these terms or the law, or if we discontinue the service — in that case we will give notice to your account email and refund any period paid for but not delivered.

Changes

If these terms change materially, the date below changes and we will say so in the app before the change takes effect for you. Continuing to use the service after that is how you accept the new version.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, where the operator is based. That choice does not remove consumer or statutory rights you have where you live.
